On Saturday 30th September, KAMMP in partnership with @official.fima held our 2nd nation wide life savers workshops in different masjids in Kenya.
FIMA Lifesavers is an initiative of the Federation of Islamic Medical Association (FIMA) where KAMMP Lifesavers has been born. The idea originated from the 5th Chapter of the Qur’an verse:32, ‘Surah Al- Maida’ which says: “……and whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity”. To implement this, FIMA Lifesaver held its 1st event in the UK in 3 different mosques with 15 volunteer Health care workers and 200 participants in the year 2014.
On Saturday, we managed to hold the event in the following counties in the coastal region.
